The maiden edition of WokeMill’s top 10 Naija countdown.
The maiden edition of WokeMill’s top 10 Naija countdown started with the hosts Kayballz and Famo talking about how the idea of WokeMill was birthed three years ago and how they plan to keep y’all WOKE with the different shows and programs. The songs featured on the countdown were hits that were released between the last quarter of 2019 and the beginning of the year 2020.
On the number 10 spot, we had a song off the new Star Boy’s groovy Soundman album titled JAM featuring Chronixx.
Claiming the song was a message that was inspired by God through a dream, Kizz Daniel gets the number 9 spot on our top 10 Naija countdowns with his new hit single titled Jaho.
Davido was surely taking a risk when he decided to release a supposedly failed freestyle as an actual track on his new album and in the end, the risk was worth it because RISKY is a song you can’t just 8.
While most of us are still trying to get over the Marlian President’s leg work at the starboy fest, he comes back to help fight against the devil in his new tracktitled “Tesumole” accompanied by a series of dance steps on how to fight the devil.
On the number 6 spot, we have J Hus with his new track “Play Play” featuring Burna Boy, a song to slowly move your body to.
WokeMill empathizes with Lagosians that have suddenly become Israelites trekking to their different promise lands because of the new ban on Keke and motorcycles by the Lagos State Government that has turned itself into a modern-day Pharaoh, oppressing the people.
Kizz Daniel appears again on our top 10 Naija countdowns as a featured the artiste in Adekunle’s Gold Jore in the number 5 spot, despite being a new song that’s barely a week old, Jore has proven to be that song you would always groove to.
On the number 5 spot is OBO’s “Sweet in the middle” featuring the likes of Naira Marley, Zlatan Ibile and Wurld, a track that lives up to its title, this track is not only sweet in the middle, but it is also sweet all around.
“MAD” by Sarz featuring Wurld takes the no 4 spot on our top 10 Naija countdown.
Fireboy makes our number 2 spot on our top 10 Naija countdown with Vibration, a hit off his Laughter Tears and Goosebumps’ album, a song that’s got everybody in a kind of frenzy vibration.
It comes as no surprise that the song that makes the top spot in our top 10 the countdown is “Geng”, most likely the hottest song in the country right now, by the Mayor Of Lagos himself, Mayorkun. This song has a kind of freestyle feel to it but Geng is the song of the moment.
