THE STORY, THE EVOLUTION, WOKEMILL RADIO? ,WOKE? BY OUR CREATIVE DIRECTOR AKINBODE KAYODE

Hello everyone, KAYBALLZ here aka WOKE DADDY aka SANDY-KAY and I am the creative director of WOKEMILL NETWORK which is in charge of managing the beauty which is WOKEMILL RADIO & other media, I will make this as short and straight to the point as possible. When we take a look back our younger selves, the dreams we had, the ambitions, the influence of our surroundings on these Dreams and ambitions and scale them to where we are or what we are doing today some of us are disappointed, some of us feel accomplished and some others are indifferent & mostly unbothered. To me it doesn’t really matter which category you fall under, the koko (point) is to make money, live a comfortable, happy and stress free life. That being said I have chosen a hobby which surrounds media which might eventually lead to a career different from what I’m studying for in the higher institution, like I said everyone wants to be happy and also live a stress free life and at this stage I don’t think my course of study will bring me that. A lot of my mates which include various students across the country would agree with me that the educational system in the country is failing, I mean you’d expect nothing less from a failing country, so there’s not much surprise here , BUT out of this failure a lot of successful young entrepreneurs have emerged making it quite surprising and almost impossible to fathom and this brings about the talk of “Passion”, doing something you have real interest in, not minding if you’re not making sky rocketing profits from it but being happy and comfortable in that space that you could work the whole 365 days without regrets or complains, I don’t care what people say but this “365 day work” which is serious hard work with mad connections, networking and very importantly the grace of GOD or whatever you believe in will get you building your foundation at the peak.
​That being said, I introduce to you WOKEMILL radio powered by WOKEMILL network, WOKEMILL radio is platform that features an online radio a blog and other interesting and captivating content that can’t be revealed at the moment. Now a lot of you who have been following us from the start have watched us evolve from “The WOKE online” which was basically me being naïve and not thinking things through, to “WOKE RADIO by The WOKE brand” which had to be scrapped because of our ambitions of Global domination, which in simple terms means we didn’t want to share domain names or brand names with any other body or organization in the world, we checked and saw there were too many “WOKE RADIO’S” flying about in different countries like the UK, CANADA & the USA, we wanted our brand to be exclusive so when we go international we won’t have law suits at our feet, and this led to us to developing the name WOKEMILL.

If you study these three names you’d notice there is a constant entity which is the word WOKE, beautiful isn’t it but at the same time it is confusing,                                What is WOKE? The word “WOKE” is a verb which different people have tagged different meanings to, for example the Black & Hispanic Community in the USA consider being “WOKE” a movement that is aware of the narcissistic nature in the White man and the Government which rules over them, which brings about Racism, so to them being woke is kind of like a way of telling themselves, the white supremacists and also the people who govern them that they are AWARE of the dirty work going on behind the scenes which in most times is not in their favour.
Generally being Woke means to be aware of the true happenings in your surroundings which is where we come in, this definition is the one we (WOKEMILL) are all about. We are bringing forward a movement that will empower the minds of the youth making them see the true and real nature of the environment around them which is important to the Future ahead of us. This movement will cover different topics, from Entertainment, to Music, Politics, Climate, Personality, Religion, Culture & the Universe. Being WOKE is not accepting what you are fed to believe, it is questioning with an open mind the reason for  peoples actions, questioning with an open mind the government and politics, questioning with an open mind the true meaning of religion & Culture, questioning what the universe has in store for us and getting answers that satisfies each person exclusively, the next person doesn’t need to agree with your answers or conclusions, of course it is your thought, your question and your conclusion but to be right there has to be frequency in each persons conclusion on a topic, Join us on this exciting journey.
I introduce to you once again WOKEMILL RADIO powered by WOKEMILL NETWORK, The radio will contain programming and content cuts across different topics and also don’t forget the non stop play of your favorite hits from all over the world to keep entertained while you acquire “sense”(Knowledge).
